Lightning and Headaches

Researchers at the University of Cincinnati have found that chronic headache sufferers have a 31 percent increased risk of headache and a 28 percent increased risk of migraine on days when lightning strikes within 25 miles of their home. A separate study has found that the risk may increase to 100 percent if they are struck directly in the head.
